Exorcistmas

Alright, so he's this project I was really interested in doing back in December. I had this Christmas-horror short where Santa is delivering presents and comes across a little girl who is possessed by a demon. There'd be the implication that Santa kind of deals with similar things fairly often, considering his gift-giving job is only one night a year. So the rest of the time Santa is a badass adventurer/monster hunter. But I wasn't very happy with how it was going and gave up. It eventually got to be January and my Christmas spirit faded, as with my interest in trudging on.

But here are the pages I have from that. Hopefully I'll go back to this at some point. I've always wanted to tell a story with Santa as the main character in a non-christmas setting.

Superfriends 2010

Okay, so a couple years ago at this point, I started a Christmas gift project for my friends. I started in 2009, and got sidetracked until fall of 2010. So it was a pretty late christmas gift. But I drew them all as superheroes based on something relating to their lives or personality. For Christmas 2010, I was going to do one drawing of all of them in a big throw down. I got to the point of coloring it, and at the time I was not happy at all with my ability to color things, so I just sort of stopped working on it. I'm not even sure how many of them have seen this, but here it is.
